Alcocéber is a picturesque village in the province of Castelló on the Costa del Azahar.

Alcocéber is a popular tourist destination. This small coastal village has not really too many large buildings and offers a coastline of ten kilometers with four main beaches and also some unspoiled coves. Alcocéber is not fully urbanized yet.

The four main beaches of Alcocéber are Carregador, El Romà, El Moro and Manyetes, all having the Blue Flag as a sign of quality.

The Tres Platges are a set of three bays separated by rock formations. These bays are really great as they are mainly virgin coves. The waters around Alcocéber are great for nautical sports such as diving, sailing and fishing.

From Alcocéber you can visit the nature reserve Columbretes Islands. This is a group of small uninhabited islets of volcanic origin. There is a lighthouse on the biggest island, Illa Grossa.

The archipelago is a wildlife reserve since 1988 and it is a favourite place for sea birds as Audouin Gulls and Eleanora Falcons. Migrating birds use the islets as a stop over as well. There is also an interesting fauna.

Several routes and footpaths cross the Nature Reserve Sierra de Irta close to Alcocéber. Another interesting place is the L'Estany wetland.

The local gastronomy is varied with rice and fish dishes as the most outstanding.

Alcocéber is the perfect place for a peaceful holiday and to have fun on the beautiful beaches.
